    • Ricky Chisum – Hello, I am currently looking for a dust collection system for my shop. Do you have a preference on a dust collection system? Is the Grizzly 1 HP enough or should I be looking at a 2 HP. Of course I would like to get a cyclone but the price jumps up when you look at those. Thank you for the advice.
    • John Horgan – You talked about cleaning saw blades. The best solution I have found is using a 50/50 mix of laundry detergent and water. Let the blade soak for a few minutes and with a little scrubbing with a soft bristled brush, then rinse and dry and your as good as new.

I say… I say there, TWP… are you listening to me? Gitch ya a bottle of that there citrusy orange cleaner… that orangie environmentally friendly stuff and soak yer blades in that there stuff… then just brush it — I said — just brush it good and rinse ‘er off an’ yer good to go. Yer good to go, I said… 😉 (very bad impersonation of Foghorn Leghorn) lol

Or if you’re in a hurry and a bit impatient also, just spray it good with oven cleaner, let it sit for a bit, brush it, rinse, and repeat — on the other side of the blade…
